Product Licenses — 100% GPL Compatible

All RiotShine premium products — including our WordPress plugins and themes — are 100% GPL compatible. They are licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2+) — the same license WordPress itself is released under (wordpress.org/about/license).

What this means for you: you may use RiotShine plugins and themes on unlimited sites — personal or client projects — freely modify and customize the code, and redistribute the software, whether unmodified or modified, as long as the GPL license text stays with it. The GPL governs the software itself and guarantees these freedoms.

Your purchase covers the product plus the premium services that wrap around it — direct support, automatic updates, and your license key. Support and updates are services delivered by RiotShine LLC; they are not restricted by the GPL.

The RiotShine name, logo, and brand materials remain the exclusive property of RiotShine LLC and are not licensed under the GPL. WordPress® is a registered trademark of the WordPress Foundation.
